Case Study: Faith of Jesus Ministries

Summary: The team was approached by the leadership of this ministry which had a steady consistent membership level but was eager for growth. The ministry was considering running local television ads in an effort to increase awareness of its ministry and outreach services. Recommendation: The team recommended a three tier approach to addressing all of the ministries needs and giving them maximum impact for their budget.

Phase I -Professional Website Development

FOJ Welcome developed and launched the ministry’s new online presence with a professional website. The website featured bios of the leadership team and links to the ministry’s social media outlets. The website also included a constant stream of the ministry’s new 24/7 online radio station and link to their mobile app which was also developed by the team.

Phase II – Video Recording & Photography

In an effort to successfully pull of the website launch and new branding, the spent a day onsite during a live service in order to capture ministry video footage for the website and commercial.

A total of 3 videos were produced from this one recording event and are used as a TV Commercial (30 seconds), a ministry welcome (2 minutes), and a social media promo which is used to highlight the ministry on Facebook and YouTube (3 minutes).

Phase III – Online Radio Station & Mobile App was able to develop a 24/7 online streaming radio station for the ministry which has a playlist of favorite sermons that feature the Pastors and leadership team. The radio station also has a mobile app and distribution in over 30 markets and most 2016 smart cars, via Android Auto. The radio station (Faith of Jesus Radio) allows the ministry and its members to spread and share the Word being taught, and expand its reach to millions online. This ministry did not have to purchase any physical equipment, and its current media team was trained on how to upload and program the radio station content in a rather seamless process.

Phase IV – Ministry Marketing & Media Training met with the ministry media and leadership team and trained them on how to operate the new online resources, as well as made specific low cost recommendations for marketing the ministry’s new website, radio station, mobile app, and promotional videos on television and online.

Also, a sound board setup and diagnostic was performed and appropriate system modifications were reworked,  explained, and media team trained.

Final Phase –  Ministry Project Reveal!

Upon the recommendation of several promotional posts and announcements were made regarding the ministry’s new online outreach reveal. After two weeks of promotions, the attendance was increased for the “major announcement” which occurred during a Sunday service. Members were excited to see the new online platforms and many were seen sending texts, posts, and tweets regarding the new outreach tools now being used by the church.
The Leadership Team of the church is very satisfied with the overall service and recommended to several other ministries that they know.
